Privacy policy

This policy explains what information is collected when you use the Automati website and platform, how we use it, who it is shared with, and what rights you have in relation to it.

Last updated: 9 August 2026

General

This privacy policy applies to the Automati website and to the platform we operate for managing service centres and vehicle operations.

Using the site or the platform constitutes acceptance of this policy.

What we collect

  • Information you provide directly — name, business name, phone number and email address, when you contact us, request a demo or sign up.
  • Information provided as part of the service — end-customer details, vehicle details, appointments, jobs and quotes, entered into the platform by the service centre.
  • Technical information collected automatically — IP address, browser and operating system, device identifier, pages viewed and session timestamps.
  • Communication records — a log of the WhatsApp, SMS and email messages sent to end customers as part of the service.

What we use it for

  • Delivering the service and operating the platform, including scheduling, status updates and quotes.
  • Providing technical support and answering enquiries.
  • Improving the product — usage analysis, fault detection and performance work.
  • Meeting legal, regulatory and accounting obligations.
  • Sending updates and marketing content, subject to your consent and with an opt-out available at any time.

Our basis for using it

Information is used in accordance with Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, 1981 and its regulations — on the basis of your consent, to perform our agreement with you, to comply with a legal obligation, or for the company's legitimate interest in operating and securing the service.

For end-customer information entered into the platform by a service centre, the service centre is the owner of the database and we act as a holder of the information on its behalf and under its instructions.

Cookies

The site and platform use cookies and local browser storage. Some are essential to operation — keeping you signed in, remembering the interface language and the accessibility preferences you selected. Others are used for aggregate usage analysis and service improvement.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or break parts of the platform.

Sharing with third parties

We do not sell personal information. It is shared with third parties only in the following cases:

  • With infrastructure and service providers acting on our behalf — hosting, messaging, error monitoring and payment processing — subject to their confidentiality and information-security undertakings.
  • With the service centre an end customer belongs to, in order to deliver the service requested.
  • Where required by law, court order or a demand from a competent authority.
  • To protect our rights, the safety of users, or the integrity of the system.

Information security

We apply accepted technical and organisational safeguards — encrypted transport, permission-based access control, complete separation between different customers' data, action logging and audit trails. No online system is entirely immune, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorised access.

Retention

Information is kept for as long as it is needed for the purposes it was collected for, and thereafter for the period required by law — including limitation periods, accounting record-keeping duties and regulatory requirements. At the end of that period it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, you have the following rights:

  • To review the personal information held about you.
  • To request correction of information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
  • To request deletion of information, subject to retention duties imposed by law.
  • To withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time, including via the unsubscribe link in every message.

Minors

The service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information about them. If you become aware that such information has been provided to us, please contact us and it will be deleted.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated text will be published on this page alongside its date and will apply from the moment it is published. Material changes will be brought to your attention by reasonable means.
